Lazily. He wasn't interested in being a shinobi like his father, mother or even his elders and other clansmen. But they trained him anyways, discovering he was more talented at ninjutsu's than he was at staying awake in class, he focused his energy trying to perfect his jutsu's. However, he kept it a secret so that no one knew he was training. Wanting to fool them into thinking he truly didn't care for this life, he would steal away or nap during class. But given he was home schooled, his mother would often punish him by making him practice in front of her various basic jutsu's that they teach in the academy. Giving him greater control over his chakra. At the end of the first term of the Ninja academy, he passed the exams with top marks. The major issue the teachers had was that he didn't seem motivated to do this line of work. When asked about this by other students that graduated, or struggled, he would reply "my clan is a ninja clan. Why would you expect me to walk away from that?" The user would create a simple clone of themselves, and show that they have the understanding of chakra control and manipulation. PvP Effect) Create Clone) 1d4 Rounds. HP = 1/2 Users CON Mod. Name) Rope Escape Type) Academy Jutsu CP Cost) 2 RP Description) A technique taught to all academy students so that they may escape situations where they are bound. It is taught in many ways but the simplest way is using their chakra to vibrate and loosen the restraints allowing them to escape. PvP Effect) +1 DEX/STR Roll when Escaping Physical stuns caused by Ninja Wire / Rope etc
Name) Henge Type) Academy Jutsu CP Cost) 2 CP per 1 round Maintained RP Description) Using their chakra, the user would take on the form of a target or someone that they are thinking of. This is considered the hardest academy technique as it requires constant emission of chakra while mentally maintaining the form. PvP Effect) +5 Deception Roll Special Note) Can not be used in Combat. User can not Attack while using henge without breaking their henge.
Name) Wall Walking Type) Academy Jutsu CP Cost) 1 CP Per round maintained RP Description) The user would coat their feet / shoes in a thin layer of chakra that allows them to scale surfaces. This jutsu is required by all shinobi as it is considered an essential tool for combat. PvP Effect) Allows user to walk on Walls / Vertical surfaces Special Note) If agreed at the start of combat or by DM, CP Cost is not needed to be paid.
Name) Water Walking Type) Academy Jutsu CP Cost) 1 CP Per round maintained RP Description) Similar to Wall Walking, the user would coat their feet / shoes with thin chakra. Instead of sticking, they become buoyant and are able to stand on water surfaces or surfaces they would normally sink into. Considered an essential tool for combat. PvP Effect) Allows user to walk on Water / Sinking Surfaces. Special Note) Must know Wall Walking before learning. Special Note) If agreed at the start of combat or by DM, CP Cost is not needed to be paid.

Name) Inton: Falcon Swoop Type) Ninjutsu Rank) E CP Cost) 2 RP Description) Forming a single seal, the user would create a falcon made out of their element above them. The falcon would swoop down and attack their target every chance it can get, doing minimal damage. PvP Effect) 1 DMG for 1d4 Rounds Special Note) Enemies may spend their turn "Destroying" the falcon to negate the DoT.
Name) Shadow Needle Type) Ninjutsu Rank) E CP Cost) 2 RP Description) A basic shadow jutsu that sends a needle shaped sliver of a shadow towards your opponent after a pair of seals. PvP Effect) Deals 1d4 hp damage.
Nara Style Substitution Jutsu Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: E Cp: 2 Description: The Nara Clan often has a certain few which knows a way to enhance ease on the Substitution Jutsu, however their style is different to there typical village technique. They're body would turn into a shadowy form before melting into the ground. PvP: Substitution, If it fails gain 1 DR.

Shooting it over the surface of the ground to their target, they would force a hand of darkness to shoot up and hold them in place momentarily. PvP Effect) Physical Stun - 1d4 Rounds. Stun broken if hit. DEX/STR/CON to Break.
Name) Inton: Dark Shot Type) Ninjutsu Rank) D CP Cost) 4 RP Description) Similar to dark marble, the user would focus their chakra into their hands. Instead of holding the element within their grasp, they would shoot it outwards and into their target. This would cause a bit of damage. PvP Effect) 1d8 DMG
Shadow Jump Jutsu type: Ninjutsu Rank: D CP: 3 discription: This jutsu enables the user to "jump" from shadow to shadow. Allowing them to move short distances. The handsigns wouldn't leave much room for other jutsu's till the user reemerged from the targeted shadow. PVP: +1 Shadow Jutsu Rolls for 1d4+1 Rounds

Kage mane no jutsu - Shadow imitation technique Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C Cp: 5 Description: Kage Mane no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique developed by the Nara clan. Its original purpose was as a skill to help delay any pursuers. After forming the needed hand seals, the clan member is able to manipulate their shadow along any surface. By using other nearby shadows they can further extend the reach of their shadow, however they are limited to the surface area of the original cast shadow. Once the shadow reaches the target it will extend into its own shadow and completely immobilize it. The target will then succumb to the user’s very movements as if they were reflected on a mirror. PvP: Holds up to 3 Targets for 1d4 Rounds. STR/CON To Break. Targets can not dodge or Attack while held, but can still block. While held each time target gets hit the hold does not break but Duration does lower by 1. While maintaining this Jutsu the Nara cannot Attack unless a clan Jutsu permits.
Name) Inton: Dark Punch Type) Taijutsu Rank) C CP Cost) 5 RP Description) Covering their hand with their chakra, the user would launch at their opponent. As they get closer, they would focus their chakra to allow for the punch to be amplified with thei rdarkness. PvP Effect) Rank Tai DMG + 1d8
Name) Inton: Double Whip Type) Ninjutsu Rank) C CP Cost) 7 RP Description) The user would form a whip in each hand made out of pure darkness. With a flick of each wrist, their chakra would expand the whip increasingly to allow for them to whip their target a single time with each whip, no matter the distance. PvP Effect) 2x ATK Rolls. Each Successful hit does 1d8 DMG. Special Note) If user has Bokijutsu DMG Bonus, may apply it to this jutsu. Special Note) Only Ninjutsu or Bokijutsu DMG bonus may be applied, not both
Shadow Throwing Clone Jutsu Type: Ninjutsu Rank: C CP: 3 CP Per Thrown Description: With a single sigh, the user is able to form a clone from any number of shadows around themselves. As the clone is formed, a number of projectile tools would shoot from out of the clone and into their target without hesitation. PVP: WIS to Throw Tools, Follows Tools Thrown Rules. Each thrown gains 1d6 DMG, Maximum 5 Tools thrown at a time. Special Note) Uses users Shuriken or Kunai. Does not suffer negatives as per normal rules.

[Kunai - Maximum 6 Owned] The kunai (クナイ, Kunai), along with the shuriken, is one of the most common ninja tools. It is a black dagger with a handle wrapped in bandages and a small ring attached to the end of it. The kunai is designed for thrusting and stabbing, though it can still do some damage if thrown despite not being designed for it, and is about the length of one's hand.
Thrown Damage: DEX/STR vs Defense. 1d6 DMG Per Kunai (No DEX / STR bonus applied). Each thrown suffers a stacking -1 negative. (E.G Three thrown, First -1, Second -2, Third -3.) Genin: Maximum 2 Thrown. Chuunin: Maximum 3 Thrown. Jounin: Maximum 4 Thrown. Weapon Damage: Small Weapon Rank, may dual wield.
[Explosive Tags - Maximum 2 Owned] Explosive Tags (起爆札, Kibaku Fuda) are scraps of paper inscribed with a special writing, centring around the kanji for "explode" (爆, baku). Infused with chakra, they will explode after a set amount of time, remotely, or after being ignited by flame. The tags can be attached to a surface or wrapped around a weapon to be thrown at an enemy. They are very versatile and one of the basic ninja tools. Ninja can confuse their enemies by obtaining fake explosive tags. They work even under heavy rain.
PvP Effect: DEX/STR Roll vs Defense. 2d6 Damage (No DEX / STR bonus applied). Trap: Concealment vs Perception, If successful gain 2x Concealment bonus when activating. (If character has no concealment bonus, they gain +1 ATK/DEF)
[Ninja Wire - Maximum 2 Owned] Wire strings is thin pieces of wires that are highly durable and can be used for a variety of purposes, such as rappelling, manipulating weapons, binding and restricting the movements of an opponent or setting traps.
PvP Effect: DEX/STR Roll vs Defense. If successful, Target is stunned for 1d4 Rounds. DEX/STR/CON to break out or jutsu that allows Physical Stun Break.
[Military Ration Pill - Maximum 1 Owned] Military Rations Pills (兵糧丸, Hyōrōgan) are special pills that replenish one's chakra and nourish the body. It is made up of powerful stimulants and nutrients, said to allow the user to keep fighting for three days and three nights without rest. At the end of the three days effect, the shinobi is brought to the point of complete and utter exhaustion. Although these rumors are untrue, the truth is that the pills give the user the ability to fight for extra time thanks to a small portion of their chakra being replenished.
PvP Effect: 2d6 Chakra Regained
[Smoke Bomb - Maximum 1 Owned] A smoke bomb (煙玉, kemuridama) creates a cloud of smoke when it detonates. It may look like small spheres wrapped in paper or like canisters. Smoke bombs are typically used to blind opponents and make them easier to attack. Alternatively, ninja can use smoke bombs on themselves so that opponents cannot see what they are doing. These bombs can contain different types of gaseous substances ranging from harmless ones used to simply create cover for a shinobi to advance or retreat, poison,[1] and even sleeping gas.
PvP Effect: Used to hide, Gains +5 bonus to concealment. Escape: +2 to Escape roll for user and those in melee distance.
[Scrolls] Scrolls (巻物, Makimono) remain one of the most important pieces of equipment in a ninja's arsenal. The average-sized scroll is small enough that several can be carried at the same time, either in a flak jacket or in a pouch. Larger scrolls are usually carried on the ninja's back.[1] In addition to writing on scrolls, ninja use them to summon creatures, people, and items, making transportation easier and providing more options when on a mission. Some techniques can also be stored in scrolls.

Their sharp mindset to anything tactical and mysterious use of manipulating the Shadows make them a unique and one of a kind-clan. However, they also possess a flaw and that is their extreme laid back and lazy behavior - which can be easily overcome when they are given a task with which they believe is worthy of persueing. The Nara hold a close bond with the Yamanaka and Akimichi clans, occasionally placing their shinobi together in squads forming a powerful squad utilizing a combination of attacks. Nara clansmen are viewed as natural born leaders and in times like these with War in Konoha's midst, their skill sets are needed. [Shadow Masters](3 AP) The Nara are masters of manipulating the very shadows of others, by using their natural talent for inton they take control of ones shadows being able to buy their allies time.
